Virat Kohli has recently bagged the award for the Cricketer of the Year at the recent ICC Awards. Moreover, he has also been elected as the captain of the Test team of the year. The Delhi-batsman has hit a purple patch and has racked up runs at will. He also mustered a brilliant century in India’s ongoing Test series against South Africa, a knock which has earned him accolades.

Kohli is also one of those batsmen who average higher in away Tests than in home games, against Australia. He has six centuries against the Aussies in Test cricket, five of which came down under. He is on the verge of scoring 1000 Test runs in Australia, which will be a massive feat. However, in India, he has scored a meagre 330 runs in seven matches, which doesn’t justify his skills.
