It is very difficult to find expression on Suresh Raina’s face apart from a smile. Be it playing in the IPL for CSK or for India, Raina is always happy to play the role his team needs him to play rather than doing what feels comfortable to him.

He is also one of the first players to go and congratulate the opposition player after a great knock. One of such examples was when Rishabh Pant got out after playing an outstanding inning of 97 and Raina being the opposition skipper went up to him and gave him a pat on his back.

He has batted for India in all positions from No. 3 to No.7 and that in itself is a big indicator of his selflessness. He is never involved in sledging or any kind of banter and plays the game as it is supposed to be played, in a fair manner.
