The Indian cricketers might be far away from their families due to commitments to the national team, but that did not sop them from expressing their love for their close ones. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, cricketers from both the men’s and women’s team took to their official Twitter handles to post pictures with their brothers and sisters.
Among the cricketers who wished their siblings, there were Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Mohammad Kaif, Yuvraj Singh, Smriti Mandhana, Veda Krishnamurthy and many others. Though Virat Kohli is having a gala time in Sri Lanka after their comfortable series win, he seems to be missing his sister. The Indian skipper took to Twitter and expressed his sadness over the fact that he is not with his ‘Didi’ at the moment. He also posted pictures of his sister and her husband along with the note.
