Twitter Reactions: Ashwin topples South Africa to help India win the series: After days of debate over the pitch, how there was a ghost in it and why rank turners are against the flavor of Test cricket, it’s time we talk about the game again. The 3rd day was going to be the last day of this Test match, but South African skipper Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis had a resistive plan with them. The two batted with determination, and with an almost unlikely goal of playing it out.
The duo stood there against all the plans Indian skipper Virat Kohli threw at them and were unbeaten right throughout the first session. And it required two beauties from Indian leggie Amit Mishra to first Amla in the 70th over of the innings and came back in his next to get rid of du Plessis. Then on as Ashwin said in the post-match presentation it was going to be an uphill task for the South Africans.
Once the partnership was broken so was the dam that they had built to stop the flow of wickets; Indian skipper Virat Kohli took the new ball as soon as it was available and threw it to his spinners. Ashwin’s deliveries once again started doing the trick, it turned and bounced and within no time he recorded the best bowling figures of his career with 7/66 and had match figures of 12/98. India won the game by 124 runs and with that the series as well.
Ashwin was rightly awarded the man of the match for his performance. Here are the best tweets appreciating the offie for his performance.

A batsman goes out there to score a 100, I go out there to get a five-wicket haul: Ashwin, after taking 12/98 in Nagpur Test #INDvSA

India ends the 10 year drought against South Africa. Kohli won two important tosses and his spinners bowled better than their counterparts!

It's not that the Nagpur Pitch turned. No!
it's that India went out of their way to get a turning pitch. #INDvSA
