Until one point, it was a season of the beard. But since Ravindra Jadeja’s new-look, a few players have followed suit and done away with their beard. Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma shaved their beard off with Pandya being the first one to announce it on social media along with Jadeja, who started the trend.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is in no mood to shave his beard off though. He uploaded a picture on Instagram and in the caption he mentioned that he is not ready to ‘break the beard’ yet. He also acknowledged the new-look boys Pandya, Rohit and Jadeja on their makeover.

Virat Kohli has been linked up with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for a long time. The couple has been spotted holidaying together and both have uploaded several pictures with each other on social media. Yet they have never talked openly about their relationship.

The Bollywood actress certainly likes Kohli’s beard as she was quick to reply to the beard post shared by the Indian captain. She replied by saying that Virat ‘cannot’ cut his beard to which Kohli responded by saying ‘okay’.

It is quite evident that the Indian captain’s lady love likes Kohli in the beard. Recently Virat left his fans in awe when he shared a special women’s day post on his Instagram account a picture with his mother and Anushka. He said that both are the most important women in his life.

Kohli, though, will be keen to change Royal Challengers Bangalore’s trend of losing from winning positions this year. Still reeling from the 49 all-out rout, RCB will take on the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday night at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

With just 2 wins out of 7 games, RCB is positioned at the last spot in the points table. The chances of the finalists from last year making it to the top 4 this year look very slim. It is still mathematically possible, but the Kohli-led side needs to fire on all cylinders for all the remaining 7 of their league games.
