Watch: MS Dhoni gives priceless witty reply to Kevin Pietersen

The Maharashtra derby got underway at the MCA Stadium at Pune between the Rising Pune Supergiant and the Mumbai Indians. While most of the people expected the on field action to be taking the limelight, it was a certain MS Dhoni who did not cease to amaze on the night yet again. Well, that was not due to his on field heroics that one would usually associate him with but by his wits.

Dhoni is renowned to be a witty player who often owns up moments and other people with his witty quotes. He totally stumped commentator Kevin Pietersen after the latter made a trolling remark at him. The incident took place in the over bowled by Deepak Chahar early on in the Mumbai Indians innings. RPS player Manjo Tiwary was on the mic and the commentators were having an interaction with him.

It was just then that one of the commentators, Kevin Pietersen, asked Tiwary to pass on a message to wicket keeper MS Dhoni. He asked Tiwary to tell Dhoni that KP is a better golfer than Dhoni. He said, “Can you do me a favour ? Can you just whisper MS that I’m a better golfer than him.” Soon, Tiwary was seen walking up to Dhoni and conveying the message.

He told Dhoni, “Kevin Pietersen bolra hai ki vo apse better Golfer hai (Kevin Pietersen is saying that he is a better golfer than you).” A very quick witted Dhoni took very little time to troll KP with his priceless reply. He reminded KP that his first Test wicket still remains to be KP. “He is still my first Test wicket,” said Dhoni.

KP was totally bowled over and had nothing much to say on it. Well, MSD has made the knack of owning the trollers in his own way. Watch Dhoni giving a priceless reply to KP on live commentary:
