Watch: RCB stars ‘Twist and Shout’ into the night

The Beatles may not have done anything significant since the 1980s. Yet, they remain etched in our hearts. Well, if not in everyone’s heart, they are etched in the hearts of some of the RCB players. It is no secret that Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle love to put on their dancing shoes from time to time.

On the field, Virat Kohli is a picture of intensity. Sweat crawls down his face like a leech, yet, he is so focused on the game that it ceases to cause any sorts of on-hand problems for the RCB skipper. However, off the field, Kohli teams up with Chris Gayle and the rest of the ‘Brady Bunch’ and dance into the night.

The ‘Work Hard Party Harder’ certainly works in this case. While it was Kohli and Gayle impressing one and all with their version of ‘Dirty Dancing’, Shane Watson and a few others also got in on the act. While Kohli made decent attempts to imitate Gayle, the latter simply didn’t stop. It was almost like watching yet another Step Up movie.

The next surprise was Shane Watson. He is quintessentially the incredible Hulk of cricket at the moment. However, despite his amazingly massive demeanor, Watto picked up the guitar and strummed his way through the chords of ‘Twist and Shout’ by the Beatles. Danielle, the wife of AAB de Villiers also found her dancing shoes along with David Wiese.

Needless to say, these were the words in the heads of one and all present at the party.
