Watch: Rohit Sharma unwinds with a game of TT with wife

The tenth edition of the IPL is moving towards the business end. Mumbai Indians are currently at the top of the table and have won their last six games on the bounce. They haven’t lost a single game at home thus far this season. Their skipper Rohit Sharma hasn’t enjoyed a great run with the bat but things look fine as far as the team is winning.

He came into the tournament with a long 5-month lay-off due to injury. In 7 innings, Rohit has managed to get just 54 runs with 40 of them coming in one game. Sharma’s nemesis has been the leg-spinners, as he has fallen to them 5 times out of 6 dismissals.

It is probably the best time for Rohit to unwind a little. In a recent video he shared on a social-networking website, Rohit was seen playing Table Tennis with his wife.

Rohit captioned this video as ‘Schooling the wife at TT’. The right-handed batsman was trying to teach his wife a thing or two in Table Tennis. But after a few seconds, Rohit hit a smash to win a point which left him in splits as his wife complained about him going back on his words, that he will not play the smash.

The grueling schedule of the six weeks tournament does get to the players and they must find ways of relaxing and unwinding.

Since Mumbai play 2 back to back games at home, first on Saturday and the other on Monday night, Rohit got a chance to stay at home for an extended period of time. He must be feeling rejuvenated and will be raring to go for their next game against Rising Pune Supergiant.

The 2-time champions will be wary of RPS, who have won their last two consecutive games. Pune is now gathering momentum and looks more certain with their playing combination. With MS Dhoni announcing his return to form, Rohit Sharma must place plans to keep the former India captain quiet.
