Indian Test captain Virat Kohli has an ever growing fan base. His mesmerising cricketing abilities coupled with his determination and a huge appetite for success has earned him a large base of hearty followers.

Prominent umpire Aleem Dar’s son, Hasan seems to one of those staunch followers of Virat. Aleem Dar, who is currently in the Caribbean as one of the official in the series recently came up with a request on behalf of his son.  Kohli has always obliged such requests and this time too recorded the message for Aleem’s son.

Kohli in his message said that he is sitting near to Hasan’s father Aleem Dar and is happy to know that Aleem’s son is a big fan of him. Kohli also expressed his delight in knowing that like him Hasan believes in commitment and hard work. He advised Hasan to keep up the hard work and one day he will chase his dreams. Kohli also made sure that he will fulfil Hasan’s wish to send him a signed bat.

Virat Kohli began his Caribbean sojourn in the best way possible scoring a double century in a winning effort. Kohli, who made his Test debut in this beautiful islands five years ago, this time, has travelled as the leader of the visiting pack. The Indian team thumped the West Indies in the opening test by an outstanding margin of an innings and 92 runs at Antigua.

Virat Kohli will hope to extend the lead in the upcoming Test. The second test begins at Kingston from June, 30.
