SKY aka Suryakumar Yadav is probably the most dependable player in the Indian T20 team right now. With his brilliant performance during the West Indies series, the Mumbai-born player now ranks 2nd in the ICC Men’s T20I Rankings.

After getting dropped from the team last year, Hardik Pandya promised to make a strong comeback in the Indian set-up and boy did he! After an impressive season in the Indian Premier League, Hardik has been very consistent for the Indian team as well.

In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the go-to man for Rohit Sharma. Regaining his form, Bhuvi has been brilliant for India after the T20 World Cup 2021. The 32-year-old picked up a total of 3 wickets in the series with an economy of 7.18.

Despite not picking a lot of wickets, the team backs Bhuvi because of the impact he has in the Indian team. He is the leader of the bowling unit and his economic spell in the powerplay is what makes him a very dangerous bowler.

The team will depend a lot on him in the Asia cup. Obed McCoy was the most dependable bowler for West Indies during the series. The left-arm pacer picked up the most number of wickets and was probably the best player for the West Indies side.

Despite not picking a lot of wickets, the team backs Bhuvi because of the impact he has in the Indian team. He is the leader of the bowling unit and his economic spell in the powerplay is what makes him a very dangerous bowler.

Obed McCoy was the most dependable bowler for West Indies during the series. The left-arm pacer picked up the most number of wickets and was probably the best player for the West Indies side.

It is not the amount of runs that matters but the brand of cricket that he played. Leading the team from the front, Rohit’s plan was to give a good start. He attacked the ball right from the start and kept the opposition in pressure.
With the highest score of 64 runs off 44 balls in the first match, Rohit scored a total of 108 runs in the four matches that he played. The Indian captain failed to open his account in the second match while scoring 11 and 33 in the third and fourth match respectively.

<h3>2. Kyle Mayers</h3>

Not a lot of players from the West Indies camp have impressed in the series, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/west-indies-vs-india-3rd-t20i-stats-review-kyle-mayers-highest-score-hardik-pandyas-feat-and-other-stats/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kyle Mayers</a> being an exception in that list. With 110 runs in four matches, Mayers proved to be a key figure in the West Indies dressing room.
Sadly, he couldn’t convert his starts into big ones and hence the result was there for everyone to see. Mayers scored 15 in the first match followed by just 8 runs in the second match. He returned back into form with a quickfire 73 in the third match and 14 in the fourth match.
Despite playing some good cricket in the 3rd match, West Indies lost that match by 7 wickets after Suryakumar Yadav stole the show with his impactful knock of 76 runs off 44 balls.

SKY aka Suryakumar Yadav is probably the most dependable player in the Indian T20 team right now. With his brilliant performance during the West Indies series, the Mumbai-born player now ranks 2nd in the ICC Men’s T20I Rankings. 
<a href="https://www.crictracker.com/suryakumar-yadav-buys-luxurious-mercedes-benz-suv-worth-inr-2-15-crore/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Suryakumar</a> scored 135 runs in the four matches that he played. He scored 76 runs in the 3rd T20I and courtesy to his innings, India won that match by 7 wickets. The 31-year-old was adjudged as the Man of the Match.
Played as an opener in all the matches that he played, Suryakumar Yadav gave a good start in the first and fourth match where he scored 24 runs each. In the second match, he only scored 11 runs as India lost that match by 5 wickets.

<h3>4. Hardik Pandya</h3>

After getting dropped from the team last year, Hardik Pandya promised to make a strong comeback in the Indian set-up and boy did he! After an impressive season in the Indian Premier League, Hardik has been very consistent for the Indian team as well.
More than his batting, it’s his bowling that has caught the attention of all the fans. Of course, he has the ability to finish a game from any position but he has also been very economical with the ball. The 28-year-old has scored 64 runs in the four matches he played and gave away 72 runs in the 12 overs that he bowled. He did pick up just one wicket but his economic spells are what is helping India in the middle overs.

<h3>5. Shimron Hetmyer</h3>

Even though <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/wi-vs-nz-shimron-hetmyer-plucks-one-handed-screamer-to-send-back-martin-guptill/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hetmyer</a> didn’t have a very good series, he managed to score 115 runs in the 5 matches that he played. He played a good knock of 56 off 35 balls in the 5th T20I but got no support from the other end to take the game home.
His efforts went in vain as West Indies was bundled out for just 100 runs and lost the match by 88 runs. After a good performance in the last match, he can look forward to get going and helping his team to do well in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
He has been a very dependable batter for West Indies in the past and should focus on being more consistent with that. He has the capability to dictate a game and change the picture of a match. Nevertheless, his performance against India got him a place in the combined XI.

<h3>6. Dinesh Karthik</h3>

Owing to his current form since the IPL, any T20 team is incomplete without Dinesh Karthik. He has been phenomenal since the Indian Premier League and has been rightfully called up to the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2022.
The 37-year-old was the Man of the Match in the first T20I where he scored 41 off just 19 balls to help the team reach a good total. He has almost cemented his role as the premium finisher in the squad.
Despite success in the recent past, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/we-have-potential-to-put-two-or-even-three-teams-dinesh-karthik-on-indias-sturdy-bench-strength/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Karthik</a>’s place in the first XI is vulnerable for the Asia Cup. He needs to bat extremely well and compete with Rishabh Pant to make his presence felt.

With Ravindra Jadeja in the squad, Axar was never the first choice for the Indian team. However, he got his chance in the fourth match after Ravindra Jadeja suffered an injury during the second match. In the following two matches, Axar picked up five wickets and also played a brilliant cameo of 20 runs in 8 balls in the fourth match.
With his brilliant performance in the fifth match, Axar was chosen as the Man of the Match in the fifth T20I. He gave away only 15 runs in his three overs and picked up the wickets off Jason Holder, Shamarh Brooks and Devon Thomas.
Despite a very good series, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/i-would-want-to-continue-performing-like-this-for-my-team-axar-patel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Axar</a> is on standby for the Asia Cup.
