The Indian stalwart Yuvraj Singh will feature in the final episode of the famous show Kaun Banega Crorepati on November 6. It is being hosted by the legend of the Indian cinema Amitabh Bachchan and the left-hander will also be accompanied by Bollywood actress Vidya Balan. She is busy nowadays in promoting her upcoming film ‘Tumhari Sulu’. However, Yuvi got emotional and cried when he recalled the days of him fighting cancer on the sets which left everyone stunned.

The special episode has been named as ‘Abhinandan Abhaar’ and will be aired on November 6 and 7 on Sony Entertainment Television. Yuvraj was struggling with his health during the World Cup in 2011 but the fighter refused to give up and continued playing for his country. He had only single dream in his mind and that was to win the World Cup for his country and the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar who had served the Indian cricket immensely in his career.

Tears in Yuvi’s eyes

Yuvraj Singh narrated his story of his fight with deadly cancer winding back the clocks to 2011 World Cup when the mega event was hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh together. During the shoot, he said, “ When I woke up after sleeping, little bit of red-coloured mucous came out and also the tumour of 14 centimetres but I kept on playing. My health started declining and eventually, the doctor suggested me that if I don’t take a treatment even now then it would be difficult for me to be alive. Due to that my game and health both became bad.”

His story made everyone emotional including him and the cricketer could not stop himself from crying. All the spectators including Amitabh and Vidya were left teary-eyed after listening to him. But then the Punjab cricketer fought back from Cancer and made his return to the national side which was highly commendable. Every cricket fan salutes him for his dedication as he played the whole World Cup sustaining the disease and won it for India. He was awarded Man of the Series for his all-round show in the mega event and Yuvraj will always be the hero in the millions of Indian hearts forever.
