India’s iconic all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh has spent quite some time without donning the tricolor outfit. In fact, he last played for India in June 2017. However, the charismatic left-hander has always made sure to keep his presence through social media as he hit the headlines once again.
The bygone cricket hero was seen feeding little birds on Thursday, a golden gesture that has already created a buzz among netizens. The 36-year-old cricketer from Chandigarh also mentioned his wife Hazel Keech in the post, indicating that the couple was vacationing somewhere. Yuvraj got married to Hazel, a British-Mauritian model last November.
Yuvraj wrote on Facebook alongside the video, “Feeding my new friends. Nothing better than feeding someone’s empty stomach try it #feelgoodfactor,”

The swashbuckling left-hander last played for India in June 2017, in an ODI match against West Indies at North Sound. Currently struggling with the fitness issues, he missed the ongoing six-match ODI series against South Africa.
Albeit not playing international cricket, Yuvraj has maintained his contribution to the sport. He played for his home state of Punjab in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (Zonal T20 League).
In the interim, Preity Zinta co-owned Kings XI Punjab who were the lone bidder for Yuvraj acquired his service at his base price of 2crores for IPL 2018. A dip in form and the fact that he is out of the Indian squad took a toll on Yuvraj’s price as well. The all-rounder, who looks like a pale shadow of his former self hence failed to garner much interest from any franchises.
And now with Yuvraj in the later stages of his career, it can only be so long before the incredible cricketer declines, but he will always be remembered as one of the greats of all time. However, it remains t be seen if Yuvraj earns a call-up to the Indian team prior to the 2019 World Cup.
