Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and South African chinaman spinner Tabraiz Shamsi are known to be very good friends. The two players share a mutual connection of being the players at the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League. The two players had met during the tournament a couple of years ago and the bond of friendship has grown from strength to strength since then.

Both players have often showered praises on one another and have mutual admiration for one another. Recently, the two players were seen exchanging their jerseys. Yuzvendra Chahal was a part of the India A side that recently toured South Africa for a tri-series that involved South Africa A and Afghanistan A as the other two teams.

It was during this series when Chahal and Tabraiz Shamsi got to meet each other again, albeit in different teams this time around. However, that did not stop them from bonding over their RCB friendship. Yuzvendra Chahal posted a picture on the social media that sees the two players holding jerseys of one another. Chahal even added a caption to the picture that was adored by many on the social media.

“Live simply. Love generously. Speak truthfully. Pray daily. Leave everything else to God..!! #Brothers #IndAvsSaA #BleedBlue,” he wrote.

On field action

Talking about the on field action, it was India A that beat South Africa A in the finals of the tri-series to lift the silver ware. Speaking about the personal accomplishments, Tabraiz Shamsi is currently among the top three preferred slow bowlers for South Africa in international cricket. Yuzvendra Chahal has been making a steady stride in his own might for the Indian team. Chahal was named in the 15-man squad for the limited overs series against Sri Lanka recently. He will be seen in Indian colors shortly.
