The attitude, the swagger, the colourful demeanour on and off the field; Hardik Pandya’s deportments are privy to all. He strikes the ball with great panache too. Pandya was the answer to India’s dearth of seam-bowling all-rounders. He is an imperative part of the lower middle-order as he bridges the gap between the bowlers and the batters, providing the much-required balance to the side.

Hardik made his IPL debut against RCB in IPL 2015. He announced his arrival in his fourth game of the season. In a crucial group stage encounter against the CSK, Hardik smashed Pawan Negi for three sixes in an over and completed the run chase grabbing the Man of the Match award. Mumbai Indians went on to win the title and it began the rise of India’s most sought out all-rounder since Kapil Dev.

In less than a year, he made his T20 international debut in Australia. The right-hander’s moment of fame was the Champions Trophy final, where he was the only beacon of light in a huge loss to Pakistan. Hardik has shut all his critics down with his beast mode in IPL 2019 scoring 402 runs at a staggering strike rate of 191!!

He is confident, he is audacious and isn’t afraid to take on the bowlers at any time in the game. The 26-year-old will be the kingpin for the men in blue in the T20 World Cup in Australia.
