In an unparalleled assault against an admittedly deflated West Indies line-up, Adam Voges dominated proceedings with an unbeaten 269, on a pitch that wasn’t altogether batting friendly in December 2015.

He cantered his way to the fastest century at Hobart in just 100 balls, and added a record 449 runs for the 6th wicket with Shaun Marsh – the highest ever in Test matches. Voges scored at an astounding strike rate of 94.4, smashing 33 boundaries in an unforgettable innings for the new comer to Test matches.

He became one of the oldest double centurions in his chanceless innings, and single handedly ensured an innings victory for Australia.
