When you see Rohit Sharma bat, you should thank the gods for their generosity. His batting is nothing less than a blessing from them. The Mumbaikar can make the simplest of the cricketing shots look exceptional with his gift of timing and batting grace. What’s more intriguing is the fact that he can also play the big shots with the same elegance.

Popularly known as Hitman, he is one of the most feared batsmen amongst the oppositions. His 3 ODI double centuries and 4 T20I centuries can vouch for that. He has also hit the most number of sixes in T20Is, 127 to be precise. In all Rohit has been a beast of the white-ball cricket.

He has also made his mark in the IPL, where he is the third leading run-scorer in the league’s history. Sharma has mustered 4900 runs at an average of 32. If that’s not enough just look at his captaincy record. He has led the Mumbai franchise to 4 titles in 7 seasons.

Keeping everything aside, it is Rohit’s ability to win games for his team which has made him an icon in this league. On his day, he can send the opposition on a leather hunt. If not as a batsman, then he can change games with his leadership skills. So it will be a sin if he is not included in this playing XI.
