PBKS will be playing RCB in their second match of the IPL 2024 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on March 25. In their first match, PBKS won the game against DC in a good game. Sam Curran, Harshal Patel, and Arshdeep Singh were good in the match and helped their side to get over the line. In the 6th match of the league, PBKS will be facing RCB in their own backyard at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.

Both the teams would be looking forward for a win. RCB, in particular, will be hoping to make the most of home conditions and crowd support to return to winnign ways. In the match against CSK, they were in the game for most parts but lost in the last few overs, failing to claim the wickets of Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube. The duo cost RCB the game with their timely finishing.

The match between RCB and PBKS will happen on the 25th of March at 7:30 PM (IST). RCB has some of the best players in the league like Virat Kohli, Faf Du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Dinesh Karthik, Mohammed Siraj, and so on. PBKS have some very good players as well. It is interesting to see whether they would go with the same team and try to continue the winning momentum against RCB.

Here is the probable playing XI of PBKS for the game against RCB in the IPL 2024.

Top order: Shikhar Dhawan, Jonny Bairstow

At the top order, they are likely to continue with Jonny Bairstow and Shikhar Dhawan as the openers. The left-right combination is always good for a team. While Bairstow did not have a game to remember against DC, he can be expected to step up against RCB. Dhawan has performed well in the IPL over the years. The skipper of PBKS is likely to anchor the innings to allow others to bat around him.

At number three, PBKS is likely to have Prabsimarn Singh. The wicketkeeper-batter was used as an impact player in the game against DC. If PBKS bat first, he is likely to start in the XI. If PBKS bowl first, Prabsimran will make way for Arshdeep Singh and is expected to come in as an impact player. Since PBKS have options in the department of wicket-keeping, they can afford to have the youngster as a pure batter.
