Indian Premier League 2024 is at the end phase of the league with the four teams qualifying for the playoffs. The first playoff match of IPL 2024 will witness the table-topping Kolkata Knight Riders take on Sunrisers Hyderabad who ended at number 2 on Tuesday. The first eliminator meanwhile will witness Royal Challengers Bengaluru play the Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday.

These four teams will now try to win the IPL 2024 title. Six other teams had started with the same vision of winning the title. During the season, the rest of the teams were left behind either due to their bad performances or bad luck.

Chennai Super Kings who had come into the season as the defending champions sadly didn’t qualify for the playoffs. Mumbai Indians on the other hand were plagued by their issues and the five-time champions ended the season with one of the miserable showings.

Here are the ratings for all 10 teams based on their performance after the league stage in IPL 2024:

10. Mumbai Indians 2/10

With all the drama that happened off the field, one hoped the Mumbai Indians to rally around and put on a strong show. That didn’t happen sadly as Hardik Pandya’s return to the team as the captain ended in a huge failure. The lack of leadership and a few key batters not being in form plus the lack of a quality spinner hurt the chances for Mumbai Indians making them the first team to be eliminated from the season.

9. Gujarat Titans – 2/10

Just like Mumbai Indians, the change in captaincy seemed to affect the entire composition of the team. Shubman Gill tried his best to take his team to the playoffs but the weight of expectations did affect his batting. Shubman Gill did play an epic inning against Chennai Super Kings but it was too little and too late for the IPL 2022 winners who made a quiet exit from the tournament.
