The 33-year-old was one of the biggest surprise packages of this season for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. She had a mediocre season during the maiden edition of the Women’s Premier League as she could only take home five wickets after five games and was leaking a lot of runs.

Coming into the second season, a lot of eyes were not on Asha but she made sure she got everyone’s attention as she turned out to be the deceptive bowler she is known to be. She ended up claiming 10 wickets and her economy was also around 7. The leg-spinner was crucial to the side in low-scoring encounters and her accurate line and lengths helped the side in sealing games.
