3. Chris Jordan

Chris Jordan has proven his mettle in the shortest format time and time again and has bagged an insane tally of 305 scalps in 293 matches at an economy of 8.57. The 34-year-old is renowned for deceiving batters with his numerous variations of slower balls, which the batters has found tough to tackle, especially at the fag end of the innings.

The veteran pacer has been a designated death-overs specialist for England and has won many games for the Three Lions. Jordan has featured in 82 T20Is and bagged 90 wickets at an economy of 8.71. Also, he is no muck with the bat and strikes at 136.56 in the international circuit. Despite the skills Jordan brings to the table, he has not been able to break the starting XI of the ongoing T20 carnival.

At the ongoing marquee tournament, Chris Woakes has lacked penetration with the new ball and bagged four wickets in as many games at an economy of 8.71. The think tank might consider dropping him for the next game and trust Ben Stokes and Sam Curran to provide early breakthroughs to the side. Therefore, in that case, Jordan could be included in the mix to carry out the death-over responsibilities.
