Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Ramesh Powar, the former Indian cricketer and current coach of the national women’s team posted a glimpse of the Rose Bowl in Southampton. The India Women, led by Mithali Raj, are set to play a Test against England Women from June 16. The match is set to take place at the County Ground in Bristol. Thereafter, the Women in Blue would take part in three ODIs and as many T20Is.

Punam Raut, who was in decent form in the home series against South Africa, also posted a picture from Southampton. The Rose Bowl would be hosting the final of the ICC World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand from June 18. Even as the Indian cricketers have already reached England, the Kiwis are taking part in a two-match Test series against England with the first Test currently underway at the Lord’s Cricket Ground.

On June 5, the world celebrated World Environment Day. On a special day, the likes of Ravi Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara, and many others, posted pictures. Ashwin and Pujara would be a part of the WTC final and a lot would depend on them.
