The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The second T20I between India and Australia took place at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. After electing to field first, the Indians were rocked by an assault from Matthew Wade, who opened the batting and notched a classy half-century. He also got the apt support from Steve Smith, who turned up with 46 runs. Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques and Marcus Stoinis also chipped in with useful cameos. For India, T Natarajan was the standout performer with two wickets.
Aakash Chopra feels that Australia have included too many bowling options in their eleven. In the meantime, Ravindra Jadeja, Karun Nair, Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah celebrated their birthday. On the auspicious occasion, they were showered with praises. Australian batsman David Warner posted an adorable picture where he was seen along with wife Candice and their daughters.
Warner isn’t a part of the T20I series and is likely to return for the Test series, which is scheduled to get underway on December 17 with the Day-Night Test at the Adelaide Oval. Indian women’s cricketers Taniya Bhatia and Priya Punia posted pictures where they can be seen relaxing. Megan Schutt reminisced Australia women’s victory over India in the final of the T20 World Cup earlier this year.
