The dasher looked in great touch throughout the season as he was influential in the middle order for the Titans. The southpaw enjoyed his most prolific season in IPL with 481 runs against his name. &#8216;Killer Miller&#8217; as he is famously known, will be South Africa&#8217;s key batter in the upcoming series.
After his record-breaking season in IPL 2021, Harshal Patel was called up to the national side. The medium-pacer didn&#8217;t quite reach the heights this term in the IPL but was impactful as ever with his variations and accuracy. The RCB pacer finished the season with 19 wickets going below eight runs per over in IPL 2022.
Harshal&#8217;s battle with Miller is going to be quite intriguing. One of the best finishers will be up against the variations  and skills of Patel. Miller&#8217;s three consecutive sixes against Prasidh Krishna in Qualifier 1 reminded us all of his power-hitting abilities. It was a warning to bowlers all around the world. Hence, the RCB must be spot on with his deliveries, or else he will perish into the stands.

<h3>5. Aiden Markram vs Yuzvendra Chahal</h3>

Aiden Markram was another Protean who enjoyed a great IPL season. The right-hander scored 381 runs for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, averaging 47.63. The former U-19 captain is currently holding the 2nd position in the Men&#8217;s T20I player rankings. His partnership with Miller will be crucial as both batters are quite adept at scoring quick runs.
The leading wicket-taker of IPL 2022 with 27 wickets, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/simon-taufel-disagrees-with-yuzvendra-chahals-demand-for-drs-in-close-wide-calls/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yuzvendra Chahal</a> couldn&#8217;t cross the last hurdle as Rajasthan Royals were defeated in the final by Gujarat Titans. The leggie was Rajasthan&#8217;s most consistent bowler throughout the season as he enticed batters with his clever bowling. His impressive performance in the recently concluded IPL was rewarded with a call to the Indian team.
Markram is an excellent player of spin bowling and likes to be on the front foot against them, something that Chahal will look to exploit. The leg spinner&#8217;s biggest strength is his confidence in tossing the ball up even after getting hit for maximums, a strategy that has borne fruit throughout his career. It will interesting to see how the South African adapts to Chahal&#8217;s trickery.

India will be hoping to register their 13th consecutive win in T20Is when they face South Africa on 9th June  in Delhi.
