The run chase could have been an easy but the Knight Riders lost their top three batsmen with only 21 runs on the board inside the first three overs. Crucial contributions from the top order helped the Daredevils put on 168/7 in their 20 overs. The run chase could have been an easy but the Knight Riders lost their top three batsmen with only 21 runs on the board inside the first three overs. It was Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan who then stitched a 110-run stand to rally along the run chase.</p>
<p>Pathan hit a brisk 59 off 39 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes to his name. Pathan perished in the 15th over and a couple of more wickets followed soon. 9 runs was needed off the last over and Pandey was at the crease batting after reaching his fifty.
