Windies’ aggressive opener, Evin Lewis was bought for a whopping amount of Rs 3.8 Crores and the swashbuckling left-hander failed to live up to the expectations. He could play only a couple of significant knocks for MI and more often than not returned to the hut early.

The 26-year-old though has over 500 T20I and 1010 ODI runs, including two centuries each in both the formats. Lewis is quite lethal at the top once he gets going and glimpses of that were witnessed in IPL 2018 as well. Releasing him would be a tough call for Mumbai Indians, but with Quinton de Kock already in the side, there is a possibility that the franchise might let him go.
