The Kolkata Knight Riders are looking a team to beat this season with Andre Russell providing the cushion of turning the games out of nowhere. The KKR team won three of their four matches and the only loss came against Delhi Capitals that too in the Super Over. They will now travel to Jaipur to lock horns with the Rajasthan Royals who won only one of their four matches. The Royals began with three consecutive close defeats before winning one against the RCB.

3 – The Kolkata Knight Riders defeated the Rajasthan Royals three times in three meetings during the 2018 IPL. KKR won comfortably while chasing twice in the league stage against the Royals and defeated them by 25 runs in the Eliminator game.
4 – Andre Russell won the Player of the Match award in KKR’s previous four victories in the IPL. He scored 49* (25) during the last season’s Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals. Russell scored 49* (19), 48 (17) and 48* (13) respectively against SRH, KXIP and RCB in this season when KKR ended up as the winning team.
