More than 15 matches have been completed in the 2021 IPL. We have had some exciting games where more than 200 runs have been scored by both the teams and even some low-scoring affairs where teams have struggled to chase down 150. The Mumbai and Chennai leg will be completed this week and the action now shifts to two new venues- Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Teams like RCB have had a flurry of wins and have looked dominating. On the other hand, teams like RR and KKR have been struggling to click together. Many teams look settled with their playing XI and others like PBKS are yet to find their perfect XI.

The teams with settled XIs may not look to change many things. They will stick to the winning combination and swap a player or two at maximum depending on the playing conditions.

Thus, their substitutes won’t get a lot of opportunities going forward in the tournament. Such players can be traded in the mid-season transfer window to other teams who might be struggling to get a player for a specific role.

Here, we list 5 players who can be transferred to other teams in the mid-season transfer window of IPL 2021:

1) Narayan Jagadeesan

Names like Devdutt Padikkal and Prithvi Shaw come to the fore when talking about young players performing well in domestic Indian leagues. However, one name that goes unnoticed is Narayan Jagadeesan. The wicketkeeper-batsman from Tamil Nadu has been scoring runs consistently in the domestic circuit.

Firstly, he grabbed the limelight for his impressive show in the first season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League in 2016. Around that time, he also made his first-class debut. Playing over the years, he is now a regular part of the Tamil Nadu domestic team.

Jagadeesan was also the leading run-scorer in the recently-concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he scored 364 runs in eight games. He made his IPL debut last year for CSK but did not get many chances. With the wicket-keeping duties already taken up by MS Dhoni, he is unlikely to get a lot of chances.

Also, MS Dhoni doesn’t like to make a lot of changes in the team combination, thus he might not get a chance as a pure batsman too. Hence, he can be traded to teams struggling with their batting like SRH, where he can unleash his potential.
