Rajasthan Royals will be playing their next fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 29 at Dubai International Stadium. Royals in any case if they wish to step up in the tournament, will have to start coming up with a new strategy right from the next game. The collective team effort somewhere seems missing from Sanju Samson and his men which is their need of the hour.

As they play their next clash against RCB, it will not be an easy task for a pink and blue jersey to have an upper hand. It looks like Virat Kohli and his men are back on their winning track due to their exceptional team effort against Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians. Looking forward to getting up from the sixth slot, it doesn’t seem the Royals will go with too many changes but with better execution.

Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI against RCB

Openers (Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal)

The opening combination of the Royals is expected to provide a fiery start which has been missing for quite some time now. Lewis is a brilliant batter but somehow the pressure has always fallen on the head of Sanju Samson wherein he has no choice left but to fire. Both of them will be expected to fire at least against RCB where Jaiswal already played a fine cameo in the last game.

The star batter of England, Liam Livingstone, has been roped in by the team in order to give some base to the team and exude the same character that he has been doing for the national team but that has been missing so far.

On the other hand, if there is one man rowing the boat of RR singlehandedly, it has to be none other than Sanju Samson. He fired in the last game too and that too brilliantly but the knock went in vain when SRH grabbed the match in their favour. It will be a thing to see how gets assisted from his team this time around.

All-rounders (Mahipal Lomror, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, and Chris Morris)

Though the all-round department of Rajasthan looks quite robust and lengthy, the best has not been able to come out of any of them yet. Lomror added 29 runs from his end in the next game only to remain unbeaten towards the end.

Parag looks rusty and even Tewatia hasn’t been able to bring out his A-game to the fore. Tewatia leaked too many runs in the last game and so was the case with other all-rounders and bowlers. Last but not the least, it still remains to be seen when Morris will justify his hefty price tag.

Bowlers (Jaydev Unadkat, Mustafizur Rahman, and Chetan Sakariya)

Though Unadkat bowled only two overs in the last game, he remained extremely costly. Mustafizur Rahman can only be called the pick of the bowler who got a scalp under his belt and remained a bit economical as compared to other bowlers.

Jaydev Unadkat who talked of coming with a different technical approach ahead of the UAE leg of IPL 2021, will be under scrutiny in the game against RCb if he gets a chance. Pacer Chetan Sakariya will most likely be RR’s pick for their next clash.
