The IPL 2021 is all set to kick off on September 19 where all the franchises have already begun their preparations. In the same light, Sunrisers Hyderabad have confirmed their traveling plan for the remaining matches. SRH will leave for the UAE on September 01 as the remaining matches of IPL 2021 will take place between September 19-October 15.

It has been reported that SRH will make their base in Dubai and will prepare for their season either in ICC Academy or Dubai International Stadium. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have already completed their mandatory quarantine period in the UAE. It also has to be noted that the opening clash will take place between the same teams.

The Indian squad of SRH to assemble at Mumbai on September 01

SRH became the fifth franchise to confirm their traveling plans after CSK, MI, DC, and PBKS. DC and PBKS will leave for UAE on August 21 and 29 respectively. The Indian squad of SRH has been asked to assemble in Mumbai on September 01 where they will board charter flights after testing negative during the RT PCR test.

SRH struggled to get going in the first phase of IPL 2021

The isolation period upon reaching Dubai would either be six days or one week. It has to be noted that SRH were at the bottom-most of the points table during the first phase of IPL 2021. They would be keen on turning tables in the second phase of the competition. They were dealt with a huge blow when in the mid of the Indian phase, the captaincy was changed.

David Warner who has been leading SRH for years was removed midway from the captaincy and the job was given to Kane Williamson. It was later added that to have a fine team combination, SRH took this big step. He was even removed from the playing XI once and there were a lot of questions regarding the same decision. It remains to be seen how SRH will strike a comeback in the UAE with new captaincy things in place.
