Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings will play their last group stage game against each other on Friday at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. RR have won 8 out of 13 matches in the tournament and has a chance to finish in the second position if they manage to outperform the defending champions. They won their previous match against Lucknow Super Giants by 24 runs. Shimron Hetmyer, who missed the last few games is highly likely to make a smooth comeback to the playing 11. RR would be expecting a better performance from Jos Buttler, who has been dismissed for a single-digit score in the last 2 matches.

Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, have managed to win, just 4 out of 13 matches and would be hoping to finish the campaign on a high note. They made a couple of changes in the playing 11 in their last game and gave a chance to some new faces. We might witness a few more debut in this game and it would be interesting to see if they give a chance to Rajvardhan Hangargekar. The youngster was picked in the IPL 2022 auction for a price of INR 1.5 crores from his base price of INR 30 lakh.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your fantasy teams for the RR vs CSK game:

1. Shivam Dube

In his last 5 innings, Shivam Dube has made over 30 runs only once. He had a great start to the season and played some of the best innings by a CSK batter this season. However, he has failed to do the same during the second half of the tournament. Dube is still the second-highest run-scorer for CSK this season but you can avoid him in your fantasy team.

2. Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Santner has played 5 matches for CSK this season. He has not made more than 15 runs and has not picked more than 1 wicket in these matches. CSK included him in the playing 11 in the last match and he failed to pick a wicket. You can avoid him in your fantasy team and pick some in-form bowlers.

3. James Neesham

James Neesham played the second game of the season against Lucknow Super Giants in the team’s previous match and made 14 runs. He was included in the playing 11 in place of Rassie van der Dussen, who again came in the place of Shimron Hetymer. Neesham might not find a place in the playing 11 as Hetmyer is likely to be picked again. Hence, you can avoid the Kiwi all-rounder for this match.
