The South African opener has also made his way in the best overseas XI for two consecutive weeks with his consistent performance. Quinton de Kock is a top-notch opener and one of the most engrossed players in South Africa. The Proteas opener has played brilliantly for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 2022 edition so far.

He has been the top scorer for LSG in the tournament so far. His superlative show at the top has ensured Lucknow gets off to a good start in their debut campaign. In the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), he scored crucial 39 runs after they were reduced to 14/3. KL Rahul and Co. lost the match but his innings helped the Super Giants to maintain their net run rate.

De Kock has been a consistent performer in the previous editions of the IPL and played a crucial role for Mumbai Indians (MI). The southpaw has had a good start in IPL 2022 and will hope to continue the good work as the franchise aim for its maiden IPL title.
