9. Sunrisers Hyderabad: 2.5/10
The Sunrisers Hyderabad too had a poor season. With the absence of Warner and Rashid, they looked in disarray. Adding on, the likes of Williamson and company never took the initiative to shine on the bigger stage as well. The team did make a decent comeback in the middle of the group stage, but later on, everything fell apart.
In 14 IPL games, SRH managed to win six of them, five of which were consecutive wins. But, with eight losses, it was a horrible time for the team. Adding on, they had a net run rate of -0.379, which is not acceptable by any means.
As a team, SRH was one of the best in the middle of the tournament. However, they were over-dependent on some players like Kane Williamson, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rahul Tripathi, and a couple of others. This meant that if they failed, the team eventually lost the game.
