India will begin their Europe tour with a 2-match T20I series in Ireland which will be only the 2nd time they face the Irish side outside World Cups and World T20s. India toured Ireland in June 2007 for One-Dayers against the hosts and South Africa which was the only other time when India toured the nation. Both the teams are well separated when it comes to the T20I format as India are ranked 3rd and have a chance to catch up with Pakistan on the top while Ireland are placed at No.17.
