After two one-sided encounters in the first two games, the Mzansi Super League is gearing up for its first doubleheader of the season on Sunday. The second game of the day will be played between the Paarl Rocks and the Tshwane Spartans at the Boland Park in Paarl, the home ground of the former. It promises to be an exciting contest given both the teams will want to get a win under their belt.

The Tshwane Spartans faced a big jolt early in the tournament and lost to the Cape Town Blitz by a huge margin of 49 runs. They would be looking forward to getting things back on track with this encounter. On the other hand, this is the first game of the season for Paarl Rocks and they would like to have the early momentum on their side.

Pitch and Conditions

The Boland Park is typically not a high-scoring venue. So, a mediocre total is something that should be good enough. Also, the pitch is expected not to change much through the course of 40 overs which makes the toss less significant compared to some other venues.
