Sanju Samson clears the Yo-Yo Test in a grandiose way

The competition in the game right now is getting tougher with every passing day and it’s becoming tough for young cricketers like Sanju Samson to break into the main scheme of things. But the ones who keep fighting hard for a place in the side and try to break the selector’s door instead of knocking it will somehow find a way through.

Sanju Samson in that regard has done himself and his chances of getting into the Indian side a huge favor. The Kerala batsman has cleared the Yo-Yo Test in flying colors, which deems him fit for a place in the Indian national side. As many know, the passing score in this test is 16.1 and Samson managed to score 17.4, which certainly will grab a lot of attention.

Samson had a terrific season in the domestic circuit, helping Kerala punch above their weight. Although they got knocked out in the quarter-finals, his form earned him a huge bid in the IPL auction for the 2018 edition. He once again proved his mettle with a flabbergasting rendition, showing the world he’s not willing to go out of the limelight.

A giant stride taken towards a long-lasting dream

It’s a dream for every professional cricketer to represent his country in the World Cup. Not many get that privilege, but Sanju Samson might not end up being one such cricketer. He clearly is trying to make a point to the selectors that he can be a reliable batsman in any position, although the vacancy seems to be empty with the presence of Dinesh Karthik, KL Rahul, Suresh Raina and a few others.

Interestingly, Samson transformed himself into this fitter state in a very short span of time, precisely 4 weeks. He certainly was unlucky to have not made the cut into the side for the England tour, but the selectors can’t stop themselves for a long period of time if this youngster keeps going on about his business this way.
