Irrefutably, with Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah being the three robust retentions along with Kieron Pollard being the next possible retainer through RTM cards, definitely, the senior Pandya might face a cease shortly soon. His price tag of over INR 8 Crores is considerably overwhelming, majorly, when is spin bowling is also on a decline. Also with other players like Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan being ahead in the pecking order for retention, Krunal’s chances of getting restored do look grim.

Chris Lynn, who was mainly bought at an attractive price of INR 2 Crores has majorly been a reserved opener and a big bench warmer for MI in recent times. Hardly in the absence of Quinton De Kock, Chris Lynn received an IPL game but most times he’s played a second fiddle in the top order contention. His retention looks barely a reality and might also need an invigoration to keep himself alive inside the profusion of a mega auction.

Nathan Coulter Nile, whose price tag is often reinstated in IPL auctions is now placed at INR 5 Crores but his injury-prone body has abstained MI to play him frequently. Ideally, he has been grabbed as the team’s second overseas pacer in IPL 2021 but Coulter Nile is yet to stitch his bona fide establishment in the playing XI. Overall, even his release looks highly realistic but his buyback also looks elusive all because of his clumsy fitness.
