This is how Ravindra Jadeja plans to spend his spare time before the England Tests

Ravindra Jadeja took part India’s historic Test match versus Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. He was exceptional with the leather. Ajinkya Rahane’s men won the match by an innings and 262 runs and Jadeja’s performance was pivotal to the annihilation. The left-arm spinner nipped out six wickets in the match to push the opponents on the backfoot.

Jadeja dictates terms

In the first innings, he cleaned up the tail-enders in Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman to help India bowl out their opponents for 109 runs. He was an appropriate foil for Ravichandran Ashwin who was the top wicket-taker with four wickets. He was the wrecker in chief when Afghanistan followed on. The southpaw churned out four wickets to pile on the hosts’ agony.

Asghar Stanikzai became his first victim when the batsman tried to break free after a gap of 13 balls. In his very next over, a peach from Jadeja breached the outside edge of Afsar Zazai’s willow and cannoned into the stumps. Rashid, yet another time, fell prey to his guile and chopped the leather on to the stumps. Mujeeb was his fourth scalp.

The national team will now tour Ireland and England for a T20I and ODI series and Jadeja isn’t in any of the teams. The Test series starts in the first week of August and the all-rounder will have a break of nearly one and half months. While he will be eying to perform well in the United Kingdom, Jadeja also plans to go home.

The 29-year old belongs to a Rajput-family and he hails Navagam-Khed, Saurashtra. He took to Instagram and revealed how he is planning to spend the time during the break. He wrote, “Finally i will spend some time with my babies #cominghome#horseforever #rajputboy”
