This list would have been incomplete without Chris Gayle. The universe boss is the biggest name in the history of this format. Well, he is the biggest entertainer on and off the field. He conquered the Bangalore crowd for many years and now is winning the hearts of the Punjab crowds.

Currently, Punjab has the most dangerous lineup. This is mainly because their batting order revolves around Gayle. The southpaw hits a six off every 9.11 balls. And given the fact that he has played this format for over a decade makes this record special.

Gayle has a strike rate of 150.11 in the IPL. With six centuries and 31 half-centuries, he has conquered every team in the tournament. Well, the highest score of 175 not out is more like a cherry on the top for Gayle.
