In a cliffhanger of a contest that went down to the last over, the Rajasthan Royals managed to beat the Delhi Capitals with 3 wickets to spare to post their first win of the tournament. Even though the Royals were tottering at 52/5 at the end of the 10 over mark, David Miller and Chris Morris stood up when it mattered the most.

While Miller scored a scintillating 43-ball 62 and kept his side in the hunt, Chris Morris applied the finishing touches to the innings and slammed an unbeaten 36 at a strike rate of 200. On the bowling front, it was Jaydev Unadkat who stood up for the ‘Men in Pink’ with the ball in hand. The left-arm seamer scalped 3 wickets in the 4 overs that he bowled and gave away just 15 runs as well.

As far as the Delhi side is concerned, skipper Rishabh Pant sent the Rajasthan bowlers on a leather hunt. The Delhi Capitals’ skipper scored a brisk 51 at a strike rate of 159.38 to allow his side to post a decent total of 147/8 on the board.
