Virat Kohli spends quality time with family before England tour

Team India skipper Virat Kohli is trying his best to get back to full fitness as soon as possible. The Indian team is set to play against Afghanistan in their first game of the 2018-19 season. Skipper Kohli will not be a part of the game as he had pulled out of the fixture long time ago. He had decided to skip the game in order to ply his trade in the County cricket for a month-long period.

He even signed up with the County side Surrey but could not make it to the competition. Days before he was expected to leave for England, he sustained a neck injury in an IPL fixture. His County stint never happened and even his chances of playing in the England tour has come under the dark shadows. However, in the recent days, the reports have surfaced the media that suggest Kohli could well be fit in time to travel with the national side to Ireland.

There is nothing certain about the news though. For now, Kohli has been posting social media updates indicating that he has started working out already and is raring to take the field again. A final call will be taken once Kohli undergoes the fitness tests. The other players of the Indian team are also expected to undergo some gruelling fitness tests before the commencement of the international season.

Kohli gets quality family time

While the reports of his fitness are doing the rounds in the media, Virat Kohli has found some very well deserved personal time. He was recently seen spending some quality time with his family members. A few pictures of Virat Kohli with his family members went viral on the social media. His mother and brother were seen along with him in the pictures. It was surprising to see no Anushka Sharma in the frame.

Commenting on the international season for the Indian team, the season is going to be a big one for the Men in Blue. After playing against Afghanistan and Ireland, team India will have a full tour in England. Later this year, they are scheduled to tour Australia as well.
