Like millions other he had the dream of playing cricket but is called the voice of cricket in India now. He holds a BTech degree and a PGDM from the most prestigious institute in India, IIM-A. Harsha Bhogle started commentating back in 1991-92 as a teenager. He has since evolved as one of the most prominent names in the commentary box among non-cricketers and is a fan favourite presenter. He turned 56 today and quite a few cricketers along with the commoners posted wishes for him on social media.
Virender Sehwag who has his own unique style and likes to highlight specific attributes about everyone put up a tweet lauding Bhogle. Viru said that he has the ability to make a boring match interesting with his commentary and is very poetic and artistic as a commentator.
“Boring test match ko bhi apni Commentary se interesting bana dein, aise hain Poetic, Artistic commentator @bhogleharsha . Happy Birthday Harsha !” Sehwag wrote.
