The all-rounder from Bangladesh is the most talented cricketer to have emerged from the land of rivers. Shakib is currently leading the Bangla Tigers in Tests and T20s. He has given match winning performances for his team on a regular basis, and sometimes he has dragged his side to victory alone. He has represented the Bangladesh team in 320 games in which he has scored over 9,000 runs, and has picked up 435 wickets.

The all-rounder has always been criticized by his cricket board for his commitment issues, and temperament in big games which is really sad to see. Shakib is one of the most decorated all-rounders to have played this game, as he always walked out for his team in tough times. Windies never had a quality spin all-rounder and that’s why Shakib would be a perfect fit for the Caribbean side.

The team from Bangladesh have always struggled on slow and low pitches. Shakib has always enjoyed playing on Windies surfaces and his average is around 45 in ODIs and Tests combined. He plays attacking cricket most of the times which is a style similar to the Windies. He is an all-rounder in the true sense, and Windies would have won many games on their sub-continent trips if Shakib was in their team, as he can be a lethal weapon on such tracks.
