The Chennai Super Kings are set to make a comeback to the IPL roster and their excitement is there to be seen already. They have started promoting their franchise and have been one of the active teams on the social media. Above anything else, the Chennai camp looks elated at the fact that they are reuniting with their superhero captain MS Dhoni.

Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, team CSK had made it to the playoffs of each and every edition of the first 8 editions of the IPL in which they participated. This included two title wins as well. Certainly, Dhoni has given a lot to the Chennai Super Kings brand and their fans. Hence, their love for Dhoni only stands justified. Amidst this backdrop, one would imagine that the CSK team will fume if someone says anything against their most loved cricketer.

Something on the similar lines perspired recently. Jofra Archer, the young T20 sensation, was recently bought by the Rajasthan Royals at the IPL auctions. Archer has been making big news for his all-round ability in the sport. The Barbados-born Sussex cricketer was a big hit in the Big Bash League this season. Hence, the IPL franchises kept a close eye on him and the Royals have eventually roped him in their side.

However, the old tweets of Jofra Archer suggest that he is not a big fan of India and the Indian team. In fact, some of his old tweets had anti-Indian sentiments. Moreover, one of the tweets mocked MS Dhoni as well.

“Dhoni loooooooool,” Jofra Archer had tweeted.

Chennai Super Kings rise above hate

Well, many might have thought that the CSK camp will fume over the issue and try to respond in a fire-for-fire approach. Much to the perceived belief, the Super Kings welcomed Archer to the IPL instead. Their tweet just shows how welcoming the Indian fans are for the international cricketers. The tweet from CSK is bound to win a lot of hearts. Hope Jofra gets a lesson to learn too.

“Jofra looooooooove!” the official Twitter handle of the Chennai Super Kings responded to Jofra’s tweet.
