Below, we have rated the skippers of Super 12 teams on their performance based on Week 1

12. Scott Edwards - 4/10

The Netherlands participated in the tournament as an associate team hence, no one expected them to win the trophy but in the past, their record of upsetting England twice in the tournament shows their skillset as a team. In the T20 World Cup 2022, the Dutch had a great time in the first round of the tournament beating Namibia and UAE, but the team failed in the Super 12 when it faced some fierce competition from Bangladesh and India. Talking about Scott Edward’s performance as a captain, the 26-year-old looked good.

The Dutch skipper showcased his adeptness as a leader in the game against Bangladesh by using his bowlers cleverly. His brilliant decisions against Bangla Tigers yielded positive results for the team as Bangladesh were restricted to 144/8.

While as a batter, he failed to do anything special for the team. In the remaining matches of the tournament, Edwards along with other batters of the team will look to do well against Pakistan and South Africa to leave an impact in the tournament.
