India, led by Rohit Sharma, made a dismal start in the Test series against England, suffering a surprise 28-run defeat in the opening game held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. However, the hosts staged a stunning comeback in the ongoing Test series against England, winning the second and third Test, respectively, and taking a 2-1 lead. India are now gearing up to take the Brendon McCullum-coached side in the fourth Test which will begin on February 23 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

Meanwhile, legendary Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden believes that India's comeback will pose a greater challenge for the Ben Stokes-led side. India registered a massive win by 434 runs against England in the Rajkot Test which distressed the English side. Given this result, Hayden stated that England seem to be in trouble and India pose a high chance of winning the series now.

"I think it's India all the way. I was looking at the result this morning and thought that India, for a touring side, is a challenge for this reason. It's a battle of energy and conservation of that resource, which is very limited. The game, the spectators and the country just keeps coming at you. There's this great energy in India, especially in winning against England, and you can put Australia on that list as well especially now," Hayden told Star Sports.

The former Australia opener went on to say that the teams which visit India and their players need to be in a peaceful state of mind and focused on the job that they have to do.

"You have to be a guru and have to have a mindset of stillness just to be able to survive mentally there. You have already seen England this series get in front of games but not be able to sustain it. And it is because of the relentless nature of having to turn up every moment, every ball, every session (when playing in India)," the 52-year-old added.
