Five uncapped Players who are failing in the IPL: Since the start of the 2015 IPL, there are many uncapped players who have made a mark by some brilliant performances. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Surya Kumar Yadav with his timely cameos, Shreyas Iyer’s consistency at the top for Delhi Daredevils, Dominic Joseph’s accurate bowling for Delhi, Deepak Hooda’s brilliance for Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab’s pace duo of Anureet Singh and Sandeep Sharma are some of the examples. But there are some uncapped players, who were expected to do well but failed to live up to the expectations. Here are the list of those uncapped players who failed to set the IPL on fire.

Hailed as the mystery spinner after the end of 2015 IPL auctions as Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for a whopping 2.4 Crores INR. A lot was expected from the Karnataka bowler, who was said to bowl both offies and leggies without a change in the way of his release. He was given a chance against Royal Challengers Bangalore and was smashed out of the attack courtesy a match winning 96 run knock from the bat of Chris Gayle. In the two overs he bowled, Cariappa conceded 28 runs and hardly troubled the batsmen. He was dropped for the next matches.
