T. Natarajan’s rise in international cricket has served as an inspiration to all Indian cricket fans. The left-arm pacer from Tamil Nadu rose to prominence after playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2020, earning him international callups.  However, despite playing in all three forms, his career has been stalled due to a slew of ailments and setbacks.

Natarajan played for the Sunrisers in IPL 2020 and picked up 16 wickets from 16 matches at an impressive economy of 8.02. His ability to execute Yorkers at will impressed everyone. A spectacular moment of his career was when he dismissed AB de Villiers with a scorching Yorker and derailed RCB’s innings in the Eliminator.

He was unable to play in the first half of the IPL 2021 owing to injury. In the second half of the competition, he was infected with Covid-19, which caused him to miss all of the matches in the UAE. Natarajan’s ability to bowl in the death overs makes him a very valuable asset.

In the death, his perfect Yorkers and accurate slower ones are difficult to handle. All of the franchises in the next big auctions will be eyeing him as their premier death bowler.
