3. Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan, one of the legends of Bangladesh cricket team, has immense experience in the cash-rich IPL. From 2011 to 2019, he played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and gave some match-winning moments to them too with his bowling. In 2020, he couldn’t participate in the league due to his ban from International Cricket Council (ICC) but in 2021, he joined the KKR again at the price of INR 3.20 crores.

Playing in the league after two years, Hasan got only four wickets in eight matches, which couldn’t make him a reliable player for the franchise to retain him for the 2022 season. At the mega auction of 2022, he went unsold as no franchise showed interest in his name. But at the mini-auction 2023, some teams considering his experience and ability, could buy him.

Serving Bangladesh since 2006, Shakib has bagged 128 wickets in 109 T20I matches at an economy rate of 6.83. While in his IPL career too, he has been impressive by grabbing 63 wickets in 71 games at a magnificent economy of 7.43. Noticing these numbers of him in both the international arena and IPL, some franchises could get enticed and buy him at the forthcoming auction.
