The Royal Challengers Bangalore had a lot of expectations on Chris Woakes this year. The 29-year-old bowling all-rounder was expected to work some miracles for the side. RCB expected him to stabilise their weak bowling attack this season.

However, that wasn’t the case and Woakes failed to live up to the expectations. In 5 games this year, Woakes has picked 8 wickets. However, he has leaked a lot of runs this season at almost 11 runs per over. He was terrible at the death and RCB lost quite a few games due to his poor efforts. Woakes gave away 190 runs in the 110 balls that he bowled this season and wasn’t so impressed with the bat.
