Delhi Daredevils already had the worst season this year and adding to the headaches was Glenn Maxwell. His form this year was not at all noteworthy and he has caused many selection headaches for the team. He got the most chances among the foreign players but still failed to deliver.

He has only scored 169 runs in the 12 games that he played this season. His average took a huge dip this year. It was only 14, his third-lowest in his seven-year IPL career. He built the pressure on the other batsmen with his poor batting and shot selection this year. With the ball, he only managed to pick 5 wickets.
